Fine Line Creative Arts Center is a nonprofit educational art school that offers classes for adults in a wide range of fine arts, as well as workshops taught by guest artists from around the world. Two galleries are included on the Fine Line campus, where local, national and international artists' works are featured year- round.
Special events are hosted by Fine Line throughout the year, including Fine Line Arts Festival, Uncommon Threads, and Christmastime at the Fine Line Show & Sale.

How long have you been in business?
Fine Line Creative Arts Center first opened in 1979. This arts center has been at its current location 27 years, since 1986.
What is your primary product or service?
Fine Line is one of only a few regional art centers in the country. Internationally known artists teach a variety of workshops, over 40 instructors teach over 200 classes to as many as 1,400 students each year. This non-profit center, run almost entirely by volunteers, draws members from the Chicago area and surrounding states. Art classes for adults are offered throughout the year, with literally something for everyone: ceramics, textiles, and 2-D and 3-D classes. Unique workshops taught by guest artists are also offered each session. In addition, the center includes two art galleries, a supply shop, and modern, fully equipped and well-lit classrooms. Two galleries are housed at Fine Line. The Dempsey Gallery is located inside the barn and features members’ artwork. The Kavanagh Gallery in the newer, modern building plays host to a number of exhibits, featuring both local and national artists, around the year. http://fineline.org/

Fine Line offers an extensive variety of art classes to adults of all abilities. Our students range from novices to prolific, established artists. We also host art shows year-round, featuring local, national, and even international talents.
