Private Ambulance and MediCar service.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was a Lieutenant on the Elgin Fire Department when they added ambulance service in 1973. They offered Paramedic training and i graduated in the first Paramedic class in 1974.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am a licensed Illinois Paramedic and have actually provided patient care both emergency and non-emergency situations.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
2 locations in Elgin. We are looking for areas to expand our services. We are also entering into Community ParaMedicine to add Mobile Integrated Healthcare to our current locations.

Route 31 to Highland Ave. Go west 2 blocks to W. Highland Ave. and Crystal St. (Used to be a liquor store)
What type of payments do you accept?
Medicare Part "B", All insurance that covers ambulance service. All major credit cards, checks and cash.
Which areas do you service?
Anywhere. Distance from Elgin determines ETA to location.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Patrick Crawford owns and runs daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
24/7 including Dispatch with a "live dispatch person"

Your employee's really do care for patients they care for.
